Broccoli plate to start the day! π₯¦π
I made a deal with myself a while back: whenever I'm feeling like veggies, especially first thing in the day, I make that a priority. I think little agreements like this take the burden off of my mind from feeling like I must eat exactly a certain thing.
If I recall, @therealchefaj encourages starting every day with a pound of non-starchy veggies, and she said once that people she's worked with have reported that this habit was the most important takeaway, I suspect to encourage new eating patterns and feeling great. βΊοΈ
I was pretty hungry this morning, followed this plate with a tofu sandwich and cereal, but I like the veggie kickstart nonetheless. π₯ͺπ₯£
